Sophora microphylla - NZ Kowhai
Description
Evergreen. NZ native. Weeping interlocking wiry branches form a wide rounded crown. Leaves are fernlike. Deep yellow blooms, up to 35mm long, are borne in dense clusters from late winter to early summer. Fruits are pods about 15cm long. Elegant specimen.
