Prunus Padus - Bird Cherry
Description
(Padus = Wild Cherry) Large but tidy tree with dark brown bark, erect branches pendent at the tips. Leaves elliptical with sharply serrated margins. White almond - scented single flowers in racemes followed by pea-sized black bitter fruit. Deciduous.
