Idesia polycarpa (Female) - Chinese Wonder Tree
Description
Has large heart shaped, red-stalked dark greenish leaves. Fragrant, greenish flowers borne in spring and summer. Produces large hanging clusters of pea-sized berries that turn deep red in autumn. Needs moisture retentive soil. Plant pair for great effect - needs male plant for pollination.
