Fagus sylvatica 'Purpurea' - Purple Beech
Description
Leaves round-oval, pointed reddish when first opened, turning rich, deep purple. Tree matures to a dense pyramid. These are selected seedlings and as such vary from specimen to specimen. Need moist conditions for best results.
