Davidia involucrata - Dove or Ghost Tree
Description
Medium sized tree with conical habit, broad leaves to 15cm long, small deep set brownish-red flowers surrounded by white bracts making it conspicuous in early spring. Frost hardy. Best in fertile soil, with some shelter and wind protection. Deciduous.
