Cornus controversa - Giant Dogwood
Description
Magnificent tree-like species with alternate leaves on sweeping layered branches. Clusters of cream coloured flowers borne in spring, followed by small black fruits. In autumn foliage turns to rich purple-red. Hardy, appreciates good growing conditions, plus moisture.
