Cordyline australis - Cabbage Tree
Description
Evergreen. Tapering central stem with rough fissured bark. Arching, deep green, sword-like liear leaves attached directly to trunk. Very hardy in wet, dry and exposed positions. Most effective in avenues or groups. Thrive from sea level to snow line.

Question: How big should the hole be?
Answer: Dig a hole twice the size of tree’s container, removing clay into a separate pile. Keep sides of hole straight & bottom of hole flat. If soil in hole is dry, soak with water before planting. Backfill the hole with good soil or compost. F...
