Acer pennsylvanicum - Moosewood Maple
Description
Small tree, green bark striped white, reddish-brown later. Large leaves - upper is bright green, undersides are paler with red hairs when young. Pendulous racemes of yellow flowers followed by yellow-brown fruits. Prefers acid soil. Deciduous. Cold hardy.
