Decorative Maple grown for foliage and flowers. New shoots are a purple maroon covered in a white bloom. Spring brings long pendulous dark red flower tassles. Vigorous, hardy, erect grower. Sun or semi shade, avoid wind, requires good drainage. Deciduous.
